The show brilliantly illustrates that morality isn’t just about rules, but about the slow hardening of the heart. For the Christian viewer, Jimmy’s journey serves as a sobering warning about the doctrine of total depravity; without a radical intervention of grace, the human heart naturally drifts toward self-justification and decay.
